Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)

About Us

We're on the lookout for a passionate Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist to join our growing team! Newcastle Therapy was born from a desire to provide exceptional clinical support in a strengths-based and neuroaffirming way, to the people of Newcastle. 

We are a small local provider that is dedicated to being compassionate therapists and strong advocates for our community. About the Role

  • Adult NDIS caseload. Open to a mixed caseload (adults & paediatrics) if that is of interest to you. 

  • Part or full-time positions available.  

  • Flexible working arrangements- work from home during the hours that work around your family & personal arrangements. 

  • Mobile role: visit home, day programs, community sessions or Telehealth (online).  

  • Achievable billable targets below industry standard, to foster greater work/life balance and time for professional upskilling. 

  • Generous professional development and resource budget. 

  • IT equipment provided- laptop and work phone. 

  • Internal and external supervision opportunities to help you grow in your areas of interest. 

  • Freedom to work your way: Need a change in environment? Complete admin from home, a cosy café, or your local library.

About Our Clients

We work with a wide range of clients, including neurodivergent participants and autistic ADHDers, people with psychosocial, mental health diagnoses, progressive neurological conditions, and intellectual disabilities. Currently our participants' ages range from between 13 to 60 years old, though most are adults.

About You

Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy

  • 2 + years as a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist

  • A member of SPA with Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status or Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)

  • Current professional indemnity insurance, working with children check and criminal history check 

  • Willing to obtain a NDIS Worker screening clearance 

  • You have access to a vehicle to attend community sessions.
