Our Clinicians
Brontë is a Speech Pathologist and Co-Director of Newcastle Therapy. She studied the Master of Speech Language Pathology at the University of Sydney, is a Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia, and a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist. Brontë is the President of the Speech Evidence in Newcastle peer research group.
Brontë has always been interested in communication and advocating for others. Working as a Disability Support Worker, Brontë became passionate about communication in all of its forms, not just spoken language. This continued into her Speech Pathology career where she has extensive experience supporting clients using Assistive and Augmentative Communication (AAC) to express themselves.
Brontë believes that all communication is valid and equal. She uses a Neurodiversity-affirming and Trauma Informed Care Approach, to help clients achieve their personal communication goals.
Outside of work, Brontë spends time with her partner Thomas and son Henry. They enjoy being out in nature going for bushwalks, swimming and trail running.
