NDIS & Fees
NDIS-Registered Speech & Occupational Therapy.

Newcastle Therapy is a registered NDIS Provider. We are able to support participants who are Self, Plan and NDIA-Managed.

We charge the standard NDIS rate of $193.99 p/hr for direct & indirect work.

Included in our fees are:
Direct face-to-face therapy sessions at your home, online (Telehealth) or in the community
Communication with stakeholders
Therapy planning (e.g. resource development and therapy plans)
Assessment analysis and scoring
Clinical notes
Report writing
Business
Expert therapy support, where it's convenient for you.

Monday- Friday.
Occupational Therapy: 9am - 4pm.
Speech Therapy: 8am - 3pm.

We are a mobile practice, covering a 30-minute radius from Wallsend, NSW. This includes: Newcastle, Maitland, Thornton, Cessnock, Toronto & Raymond Terrace.
We can travel 60-minutes for participants in MMM5 areas e.g. Tea Gardens, Nelson Bay, Dungog.
We can also provide Telehealth support to anywhere in Australia.

Newcastle Therapy is solely mobile, unfortunately we can not offer clinic sessions at this stage. If you would prefer to have sessions out of the home, our Clinicians are happy to come and meet you in the community. We can come out to you at your local cafe, library or park.

Speech Language Pathologists (SLP’s) support people to improve the quality of life of people who have difficulties with communication and swallowing (dysphagia).
SLP’s assist people with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, vocal quality, stuttering, social connection, advocating for communication needs, assistive technology for communication (AAC), mealtime participation and swallow safety.
Newcastle Therapy is committed to supporting individuals achieve their speech therapy goals using a trauma informed and neuroaffirming framework. We do not teach masking skills.

Occupational therapists (OT's) support people to improve their safety and independence in daily activities (anything that may occupy your time!). OT’s can support people through all walks of life, to be able to do the things that are meaningful and important to them.
OT’s may help to prescribe equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, bathroom and kitchen equipment), provide intervention for learning how to prepare meals, maintain or implement a routine, understand your sensory preferences and provide recommendations on how to change the environment to enable you access to your home.

You can book in your sessions by contacting your Clinician directly or completing the Online Booking form. Your Clinician will be in contact to confirm that session.
